D'arcy Race

Join us for the annual D’arcy Race, held on Saturday the 9th March! The event has a long history and brings together members from East Fremantle Yacht Club and South of Perth Yacht Club.

The race starts from the North Head and finishes near Phillip Rock at Rottnest Island.

Don’t forget registrations for the race will close at midnight on 21st Feb!

We are also looking for volunteers from the Power Section who are interested in participating in various ways for the D’arcy Race!

1. Providing on-water support to a number of Keelboats. This may involve ferrying gear, providing food and refreshments, monitoring the vessels during their race and maybe even offering sleeping quarters to the crew (in the case of smaller sports boats).
2. Providing tender services once the Keelboats are on moorings and need to go ashore – this is a great one for teens!
3. Provisioning, preparing, and cooking a BBQ dinner as well as a Bacon and Egg roll breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.
