East Fremantle Yacht Club proudly celebrated World Boating Day with a hugely successful Try Sailing Day and Open Club Day on the Swan River.
With more than 70 attendees joining us throughout the day, the event welcomed families, friends, and first-time sailors to experience sailing in a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. Blessed with perfect sunny weather, participants enjoyed getting out on the water before relaxing at the Club and experiencing everything EFYC has to offer.
Guests were treated to a free sausage sizzle after their sailing session, while upstairs at the Club, visitors enjoyed complimentary wine tastings presented by Bungarra Wines 🍷 and explored the Sailing Photography Exhibition 📸, showcasing both mobile and professional photography categories celebrating life on the water.
The Club Restaurant was also open to the public throughout the day, giving non-members the opportunity to enjoy lunch, coffee, drinks, and waterfront views while experiencing the atmosphere of East Fremantle Yacht Club.
The success of the event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our volunteers, instructors, and staff. Their hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication helped create a welcoming and memorable experience for everyone involved.
